A simple but effective update has completely modernised this red-brick Potters Bar home. By removing a dated set of patio doors and replacing them with Origin steel-look bifold doors, the rear extension has gained a new lease of life. Black Steel Look Origin Corner Bifold Doors

The new configuration features a fixed corner design with twin sets of OB-49 bifold doors, one set opening left and the other right. This setup maximises the connection with the patio and garden while allowing the homeowners to open up the entire corner during warmer months.

The doors are desgned in a three panel configuration opening on opposite sides. Each is an individual set, fitted in the existing brickwork and structural corner.

The doors are finished in RAL 9005 matt black, with colour-matched cills, hardware, and a bespoke aluminium pressing at the corner for a consistent architectural finish. Slimline glazing bars on each panel recreate the popular steel-inspired grid aesthetic—clean, symmetrical, and ideal for bringing character to modern homes.

Both bifolding doors have the convenient traffic door, enabling easy entry and exit without having to fold all the panels back every time, providing quick access to the garden.
